A unique set of villains in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are fellow mutants Bebop and Rocksteady. Though they did not start life as their respective animals (in fact they were both human at one point) they mutated into a warthog and rhino respectively. They each have menacing costumes that contrast nicely to the nice smooth softness of the average Ninja Turtle costume. Plus if you’re into the rock and roll vibe you’ll get a great opportunity to show it off. Bebop sports a purple mowhawk with matching glasses that almost look like the 3-D ones you get at the theater. His outfit is pretty rock and roll and he even has a metal chain for a belt. It also accessorizes as a bracelet, along with fingerless gloves, some ammo belts, and a red jacket. Rocksteady’s costume requires some true dedication as everyone knows he is a Rhino and therefore should have gray tough skin. The makeup work is astoundingly detailed here and really adds a menace to the costume. Since this Rocksteady costume is for a woman, it mixes a yellow tank top with a black leather corset to add some toughness with a touch of femininity. Rocksteady’s costume also makes use of ammo slung across the shoulder and around the waist. Don’t miss the army helmet with goggles and ears either. As Bebop and Rocksteady you’ll be able to cause troubles for any Ninja Turtles who get in your way. Tonight we dine on turtle soup!
